These Terms of Use (βTermsβ) govern your use of the LearnCred website at learncred.vercel.app and the assessments, certificates and related services offered on it (together, the βPlatformβ). The Platform is operated by Saharsh Ventures LLP (LLPIN ADD-3198), a limited liability partnership registered in India with its office at Thane, Maharashtra 400603 (βLearnCredβ, βweβ, βusβ). LearnCred is a brand of Saharsh Ventures LLP.
By creating an account, taking an assessment or making a payment, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who can use the Platform
- There is no minimum age to take a LearnCred assessment. If you are under 18, you should use the Platform with the knowledge and guidance of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
- You must give accurate information when you sign up, including your full name, email address, phone number, city and whether you are a student or a working professional.
- You may hold only one account, and you are responsible for keeping access to your email and Google account secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
2. What we provide
LearnCred provides online, timed, multiple-choice assessments across a range of fields and topics. If you meet the pass criteria for an assessment, you may purchase a LearnCred certificate recording that you have successfully completed that assessment. A certificate is not a degree, diploma, licence or government-recognised qualification. Please read our Disclaimer.
3. Assessment rules
The rules for each assessment are shown on its instructions screen before the timer starts. At present, unless stated otherwise for a specific assessment:
- Each assessment has 10 single-correct, multiple-choice questions with four options, drawn from the topicβs question bank and shuffled for each attempt.
- There is one 10-minute countdown for the whole assessment. You may move between questions and change answers until you submit or the time runs out, when your answers are submitted automatically.
- Each correct answer scores one mark; there is no negative marking. The pass mark is 50%.
- Your score and pass or fail result are shown on screen immediately after you submit.
- If your connection drops, you may resume the same attempt where you stopped; the timer continues to run while you are away.
- Attempts are free and you may retake an assessment immediately, as many times as you like.
We may change these rules for future attempts. Any change will be shown on the instructions screen before you start.
4. Fair use and conduct
- Take assessments yourself. Do not let anyone else take an assessment for you.
- Do not copy, record, photograph, scrape, publish, share or sell assessment questions or answers.
- Do not try to interfere with timers, scoring, payments, verification or the security of the Platform, or use automated tools to access it.
- Do not impersonate another person or create accounts in someone elseβs name.
5. Certificates and verification
- A certificate is issued only after you pass an assessment and pay the certificate fee. It shows your name, the field and topic, your score, the date of issue, a unique certificate ID and a QR code.
- Your name is printed exactly as it appears in your profile. You can edit it until your first certificate is issued, and you will be asked to confirm it before paying. Corrections after issue are charged at βΉ249 per certificate.
- Certificates have lifetime validity. Anyone with the certificate ID or QR code can view its verification page, which shows the details printed on it and whether it is valid.
- We may withhold, cancel or revoke a certificate if we reasonably believe it was obtained in breach of these Terms. A revoked certificate is shown as revoked on its verification page, and the fee is not refunded.
6. Fees and payment
- Assessments are free. A certificate costs βΉ249 unless a different price, offer or coupon is shown at checkout. GST is currently not applicable to our fees.
- Payments are processed by our payment gateway, Cashfree Payments, using UPI, cards, netbanking or wallets. We do not see or store your card or bank details.
- Offers (such as our launch offer) and coupon codes are subject to the conditions announced with them, may be changed or withdrawn at any time, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- A payment receipt is issued in the name of Saharsh Ventures LLP (brand: LearnCred).
- Fees are non-refundable once paid, as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its questions, content, certificate designs, logos and the LearnCred name, belongs to Saharsh Ventures LLP or its licensors. You may download, print and share your own certificate and its verification link. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce or commercially use any part of the Platform without our written permission.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Platform available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the Platform, including fields and topics, for maintenance, security or business reasons.
9. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an βas isβ and βas availableβ basis. We do not guarantee that a certificate will be accepted by any employer, institution or other third party, or that it will lead to employment, placement, a salary increase, admission or licensing. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the fees you paid for the certificate concerned.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or is used unlawfully.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its βlast updatedβ date. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. See our Grievance Redressal page. Subject to that, the courts at Thane, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
