What is a LearnCred certificate worth?
It is documented evidence that you successfully completed a specific LearnCred assessment against the criteria for that assessment, with a unique ID anyone can verify. It is an additional, verifiable record of assessed knowledge, best used alongside your education, experience and portfolio. It is not a degree, diploma, licence or government-recognised qualification, and it does not guarantee a job, placement or admission.
Is LearnCred accredited or government-recognised?
No. LearnCred is not a university, college or government-recognised awarding body, and our certificates are not UGC, AICTE or otherwise statutorily accredited. Please read our Disclaimer for the full details.
How does verification work?
Every certificate carries a unique certificate ID and a QR code. Anyone (a recruiter, a college, a friend) can scan the QR code or enter the ID on our Verify page to see the holder’s name, the field and topic, the score, the date of issue and whether the certificate is valid. No login needed.
How long is my certificate valid?
For life. It records your result in that assessment on that date and does not expire.
Can I share it on LinkedIn or Instagram?
Yes. Download the PDF (printable on A4) and the image versions sized for LinkedIn and Instagram from your dashboard, and add the certificate to your LinkedIn profile with its ID and verification link.
Will I get my certificate by email?
Yes. It is emailed to you once issued, and you can log in and download it again at any time.
How do I correct the name on my certificate?
Your name is printed exactly as it appears in your profile, and you can edit it until your first certificate is issued. You will also be asked to confirm the spelling before you pay. If a correction is needed after a certificate has been issued, request it from My Certificates. A name correction costs ₹249.
Assessments
Is the assessment free?
Yes. Taking the assessment and seeing your result are free. You pay only if you pass and want the certificate.
How long does the assessment take?
10 questions with one 10-minute countdown for the whole assessment. Most people finish within the time.
Can I go back and change an answer?
Yes. You can move between questions freely and change any answer until you submit or the timer runs out.
What is the pass mark?
50%. Each question has four options and one correct answer, and there is no negative marking, so it always makes sense to answer every question.
When do I see my result?
Immediately. Your score and whether you passed are shown on screen as soon as you submit.
What happens if I don’t pass?
No certificate is issued and you pay nothing. You can retake the assessment straight away.
How many times can I retake?
As many times as you like, immediately and for free. Each attempt is drawn from the topic’s question bank and shuffled again, so the order and options will differ.
What if my internet disconnects mid-assessment?
Log back in and you will resume exactly where you stopped. The timer keeps running while you are disconnected, so reconnect as soon as you can.
Can I take the assessment on my phone?
Yes. Assessments work on phones, tablets and laptops. Use a stable connection and keep your device charged.
Payments & offers
How much does a certificate cost?
₹249 per certificate: the same for every field and topic. GST is not applicable. You pay only after you have passed.
How does the “5th certificate free” offer work?
During our launch offer, earn 4 certificates within 24 hours and your 5th certificate is free. Offers run for a limited period and may change; the price shown at checkout is what you pay.
Do you have coupon codes?
Our team announces coupons from time to time on our website and social channels. Where a coupon applies, the discounted price is shown at checkout before you pay.
Which payment methods can I use?
UPI, debit and credit cards, netbanking and wallets, through our secure payment gateway, Cashfree. We never see or store your card or bank details.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. A payment receipt issued by Saharsh Ventures LLP (brand: LearnCred) is available in your dashboard. As GST is not applicable, it is a receipt rather than a GST invoice.
Is the fee refundable?
No. You pay only after passing and confirming your name, so once a payment is made and the certificate is generated it cannot be cancelled or refunded. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Money was deducted but I didn’t get my certificate. What now?
Contact us on WhatsApp or phone with your registered email and the payment reference. We resolve failed or duplicate payments within 24 hours: either your certificate is issued or the amount is reversed to your original payment method.
Account & privacy
What data do you collect, and how is it used?
Your name, email, phone, city and whether you are a student or a working professional, plus your assessment attempts and payments. We use it only to run assessments, issue and verify certificates and support you, and, in future, to send occasional emails about LearnCred that you can opt out of at any time. We never sell your data.
Is there an age limit?
No. Anyone can take a LearnCred assessment. If you are under 18, please use LearnCred with the guidance of a parent or guardian.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Dashboard → Profile & Privacy → Delete my account. Certificates already issued will show as revoked on the verification page.
